well, i think i am divorced now. or soon. yesterday we had our appointment at the palagiustizia – we had to see the judge twice because he didn’t want to accept a minor change to the contract verbally but only in written form – yes, also the italians are correct with what they are doing and we had to sign twice and that’s it. it seems like a divorce has actually nothing to do with the parties but is something that is handled by the lawyers and the judge. the lawyer will now submit the latest version of the “contract” to the judge, he will sign and then you are officially divorced. i can’t wait to see what happens next…
